Happy Tuesday! Popping in with a card to share. It has been a rainy cloud covered day. The thunderstorm system coming through has brought with it COLD temperatures. I just spent Saturday putting away winter clothing and breaking out the spring and summer clothes. Oh, well! Oh, the bright side, when it is rainy out, it is a fabulous time to craft!
I am playing along with this week's Papertrey's Make It Monday and Papertrey's April Inspiration Archive. The MIM challenge is to stamp and emboss on small die cuts. For my card I combined the colors, layout, various PTI stamp sets to create the finished project. For the stamping on the small die cuts, I do not actually own the stamps that come with the dies, so I improvised with some background images. I like the finished look. I love playing with colors, however, I find it truly challenging to incorporate this many colors onto one card and find a balance. I am actually impressed that I used these colors without a single flower anywhere on the card. Now, that is truly a challenge for me! I am also playing along with this week's Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge! Love the inspiration picture!
As always thanks so much for stopping by!
