Happy Monday! I have a card to share. I decided to play along with The Color Throwdown Challenge, MFT Sketch Challenge, and SSS Wednesday Challenge: Frame It!
Since I moved last year, I have been slowly unpacking items in my craft room that were boxed up for awhile. Some of the items I had to store while trying to sell my home. Then, once we moved, I unpacked some of my stuff, but other items would have to wait. Since school is out for the summer, I decided to see what I had. I pulled out some much neglected MFT Stamps and die namics. It was like getting new stuff all over again!
I started with I used MFT smooth white card stock. I distressed the Romantic Script background in versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. I sponged on some Ranger Tumble Glass distressed ink. I spritzed on some water and blotted, but that is hard to see since I covered most of it up with the flowers.
I die cut the panel out with the In and Out Diagonal Stitch Rectangles. I did a smaller one on the inside white I popped up with foam tape to mimic the element in the sketch. I die cut and stamped my Flashy Florals and arranged on the card using some foam tape for the flowers and score tape for the leaves. I left the tips of the leaves to curl up a bit for added dimension.
For the sentiment, I used a sentiment die from Blueprints 2. I stamped with versafine onyx black and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. To tie in the black sentiment, I used Distressed Patterns stamp set and some Memento Tuxedo black ink to stamp some random dots.
I added the panel to a top folder horizontal A2 base using MFT berrylicious card stock. I finished my card with a few clear sequins.
