Happy Monday! I am popping in with a card to share.
I am playing along with Papertrey Ink's June Blog Hop Challenge.
For my card, I focused on one of the frozen popsicle treats. I started with some Strathmore watercolor paper. I ink blended Ranger Distress Oxide Inks wilted violet, blueprint sketch, broken china, peeled paint, squeezed lemonade, and candid apple inks. I spritzed it a couple of times with water and blotted.
Once the panel was dried, I die cut the frame from the Mix and Mat: Hearts die and the inside with the Mix and Mat: Scallops die. I popped up this panel with some foam tape and added it to a piece of the Lovely Lace Pattern Paper Collection. All of this was added to a PTI select white card stock base using Tombow Aqua Glue.
For the sentiment, I ink blended another watercolor panel using the same distressed oxide inks and die cut the words from Make It Market Mini Kit: Sunshine and Rainbows. I layered three die cut words together for added dimension.
The word "sending" also comes from the same kit. I stamped the word onto true black card stock with versamark and white embossed. I used Wine Bottle Tag #2 die to cut the small fishtail. (I cut it twice to get the smaller size and the fishtail on both ends). I added some wink of stella to the popped up words for added sparkle and shine. I finished my card with a few clear sequins.
As always thanks so much for hopping by!
