Happy Wednesday! I am popping in with a card to share for Papertrey Ink's December Blog Hop Challenge!
Below is the inspiration photo.
I was inspired by the colors and textures!
I was inspired by the colors and textures!
For my card I started with kraft card stock. I die cut the Scallop Stackers Medium die. I layered with some foam tape. I die cut some PTI Linen White cardstock using the Noted: Simply Stitched A2 Vertical die. I used smallest pattern from the Woodblock Prints Stencil Collection and softly sponged using Distressed Oxide Linen ink.
Next, I die cut and stamped the orchids from Orchid Expressions stamp set and Orchids Expressions die set using PTI Select Card stock. I used lovely lady, hibiscus burst, raspberry fizz, scarlet jewel, and cocoa bean inks for the orchids. I added some leaves using Stitching Garden stamp set and Stitching Garden die. I combined prairie grass and olive twist inks.
For the sentiment, I die cut the larger fishtail die from Wine Bottle Tag #2 die. I stamped the sentiment from Sentiment Staples: Birthday Mini stamp set using Cocoa Bean ink.
I finished my card with a few clear sequins.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!
