Papertrey Ink June Release Countdown Day 2!

Welcome to Day 2 of the Papertrey Ink Release Countdown!

Papertrey Ink Day 2 Countdown!

Everything will be available for purchase beginning at 10 PM EST, Tuesday, June 25th!

I have three cards to share today!

Card 1 ~  We Love, because...

For my card, I used
I started with pattern paper and white card stock.  I stamped, ink blended, and diecut all of the elements. I added hemp cord and bow around the focal layered panels.

I arranged all of the elements onto the card.  I finished the card with a few clear sequins.

Tips
- I found some fun vintage pattern papers from my stash.  I wanted to mute the flower colors to match.  I used fine linen ink first, then I blended the brighter color to create a softer version of the ink color.
- I used a foam pad and rounded pen cap to smoosh in the flower centers to create a more rounded dimensional look.

Card 2 ~ I John 4:19!

I started with lilac grace and white card stock.  I stamped and diecut all of the elements.   I die cut the delicate circle using some indigo bitty big pattern paper.  I used a stencil as an embossing folder to create dimensional texture.

I arranged the elements onto the card.  I added some white thread for added detailing. I finished the card with a few clear sequins.

Tips
- Don't forget to use your gorgeous stencils as embossing textures. Follow your machine's manufacturers suggestions for beautifully embossed detail.
- Instead of keeping pattern paper die cuts perfectly flat, bend up the edges to create added dimenison.

Card 3 ~ ...He First Loved Us!

For my card I used,

I started with pattern paper, prairie grass card stock, and white card stock.  I stamped and diecut all of the elements.   I created an envelope using the new arches dies set.

I arranged the elements onto the card.  I added some white thread for added detailing. I finished the card with a few clear sequins.

Tips
- Use your dies in fun and different ways.  I combined the new arches dies to create a type of envelope for the scripture.
- Use a paintbrush end to wrap the hemp cord around to create soft and flower tendrils to your bows.  Wrap the hemp cord tightly around the paintbrush and hold between your fingers for a few seconds.
-Use a paper distressing tool to "roughen" the edges of papers for an added detail.

As always thanks so much for stopping by!
