Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC63) and SCS CC267!

It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC63)! This week Cindy Haffner is hosting. She is challenging us to a sketch she has designed. As far as sketches go, there is not much of an explanation necessary. You can turn it and modify the shapes to fit your size card, but in the end, it should still
look like the sketch. Good Luck!!! We cannot wait to see what you do with it!

This card is for today's SCS Color Combo Challenge(CC267)! This week we are using two of the colors that will be retiring soon! It is all about basic appealing shadows! The dessert option...lace! Check out the link for more information!

For my card I am using Flourishes Fanciful Flourishes NEW April release set!  This set is still available with the April NEW release bundle pricing until Thursday if you want to check it out!   I stamped all of the paper you see on my card using images from this set.  Personally, I think this is  a MUST have set for making your own dp.  There are also so very elegant sentiments in the set !   I  stamped the smaller damask image using smokey shadow ink onto Flourishes Classic Ivory cardstock to make my  background panels.  I heavily sponged with ranger inks. I stamped the larger damask image using ocean tides and rocked and rolled the edges a bit with smokey shadow.  I stamped the solid butterfly with apricot appeal and rocked and rolled it a bit with some ranger dried marigold.  I stamped the flourished butterfly on top with smokey shadow.  I then stamped the flourished butterfly using jet black staz on onto clear cardstock. I cut it out and bent it in the center a bit on both sides so I would still have a butterfly body that I could adorn with gold pearls.   For the lace dessert option, I decided to add just a touch as I did not want to cover up my dp by ME background.  I thread some May Arts string into a big needle and stitched the lace trim into a circle to look like a flower.  I added a button, gold dew drop, and sponged with some ranger crushed cordoroy ink!  A special shout out to Silke(sparklegirl) for sending me some lace in the mail!  Thanks, girl!    Flourishes now carries crochet lace trim in the store.   I finished my card with some gold pearls!  I got happy happy with those!

Please check out what the other blog team designers created with the sketch!
