Congrats GRAD! Crazy 4 Challenges!

Happy Saturday!   It is time for another Crazy 4 Challenge with the Crazies!   Check out the C4C blog for more challenge details with the crazies at Crazy 4 Challenges(C4C187).

This week's challenge is NO pattern papers
allowed unless you stamped it!

For my card I am using Verve's Bountiful Backgrounds, Snow Wonderful, Small Celebrations, and Thankful Accents stamp sets. I  also used Verve's Cut Above Scalloped Trio Trim, Occasion Frame, and Goodness Flowers dies.

For my card I used Bountiful Backgrounds polka dot image and Snow Wonderful border image to create my stamped backgrounds.  I then used Thankful Accents set to create a frame for my Occasion Frame die.  I layered the Small Celebrations frame with the Goodness Flowers die and stamped a sentiment inside.  Love how it turned out.   I finished with a bow using Verve's Truly Madly Deeply Ribbon Collection in Cotton Candy.  I am using the sketch from this week's MojoMonday294.  I turned it.

Check out what the rest of the team did with this week's challenge!

As always thanks so much for stopping by!

You Make Me Smile! Crazy 4 Challenges C4C185!

Happy Saturday!   It is time for another Crazy 4 Challenge with the Crazies!   Check out the C4C blog for more challenge details with the crazies at Crazy 4 Challenges(C4C185).

This week we have an Inspiration Photo!

For my card I am using Verve's Surely Goodness and Smile Plain Jane  stamp sets.  I also used Verve's Cut Above Banner BundleRounded Scallop, and Goodness Flowers dies along with the newly released Occasion Frame die.

For my card I focused on shapes, colors, and textures.  I thought the background pattern I chose focused on the starfish shape in inspiration picture.  I chose to emphasize some orange pattern papers in different hues and patterns.  I continued with added textures from the soft felt stitched starfish from picture to the contrasting rocks underneath with distressed edges, stitching, rounded corners, sharp corners, and dimension.   I masked the Smile Plain Jane stamp.  I stamped the Make Me Smile portion in Morocco Memento ink.  I then masked the banner portion and inked with Ocean Tide ink.  I cut this banner out by hand and layered over one of the Banner Bundle dies.  I then stamped the coordinating flower from Surely Goodness in a
soft golden yellow ink.  I then used the largest flower with leaves and stamped directly to the coordinating die cut image from pattern paper.  I added a some coloring touches to the leaves with Spectrum Noir markers.   For the bow I used Verve's Signature Ribbon Collection in Cream.
I am using this week's Mojo292 Sketch.

For the Love of Patriotism and Service!

Welcome to Our Daily Bread Design's Alumni feature of For the Love of Patriotism and Service!!  This month the Alumni team will be sharing creations made with sets that focus on Patriotism and Service!  While we are including the cards and sets used by the designers for their creations, I know the designers would appreciate if you would click on the links below to leave them a little love as well.

For my card I am using Our Daily Bread Designs, I Pledge Allegiance stamp set.  I decided to keep it real and simple, but very poignant in black and ivory.

As always thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy Sunday!  I have a Birthday Cheer card to share today.  I  played around with some fun bold pattern papers from my stash.  I am using Verve's Borderline and Big Wish stamp sets.  I combined these stamps with Verve's Curvy Bookplate die and matching Mini Bookplate dies.
I stamped the frame and sentiment in a Memento nautical blue.  I popped up each frame layer for added dimension.  I added a few die cut stars from Verve's Cut Above Starry die in coordinating pattern paper.  A quick and easy Birthday card perfect for a guy!

As always thanks so much for stopping by!  Jessica is next on the hop!
