I have six cards to share today. The first three cards use the new happy birthday wafer die
I used Simon Says Stamp Green Apple and Doll Pink card stocks. I used an alcohol ink with yupo paper background. I added some gold foil flakes for added texture and touches of gold.
The top portion of the sentiment is die cut using Tim Holtz Metallic kraft card stock. I finished the card with some clear sequins.
My second card also uses alcohol inks. I flicked and misted some alcohol onto this card to blur the inks more. I added additional splatters of gold paint. This card combines some true black card stock with SSS Schoolhouse Red card stock.
I finished the card with a few clear sequins.
For the third card, I used Carta Bella Botanical Garden pattern paper. I layered happy birthday wafer die with vellum.
I finished the card with a few clear sequins.
This card used Peacock Teal card stock. I distressed stamped using Teal ink using Damask background. I stamped and die cut the Tropical Leaves stamp and die set. I used green apple ink, teal ink, and key lime inks.
I used the new Clean Line Faith stamp set for the sentiment. I finished the card with a few clear sequins.
For my last two cards, I combined Clean Line Faith stamp set for the sentiments and used the new Stencil Leaves for the images. I combined these stencils with Embossing Pens. I used the broad tip one that comes in this pack of three. I love that the embossing ink shows pink so you know where you have colored.
I used a green with gold flecks embossing powder. I sponged the background with tumble glass distress oxide ink once all the leaves were embossed. I finished the card with a few clear sequins.
I started with kraft card stock with this card. I used Stencil Leaves and Embossing Pens with various colors of embossing powder and layered gold embossing powder as well to create a distressed embossed layered look.
I sponged the edges of the kraft using versamark to create some background depth. I finished the card with a few clear sequins.
I hope you have enjoyed the cards I created today. Do you have a favorite? I would like to know!
As always thanks so much for hopping by!
