June's PTI Blog Hop!

Happy Thursday!  I have a card to share.  I am playing along with June's Papertrey Ink's Blog Hop!

I pretty much just recreated the look since I think these shoes are the cutest.

I used PTI Super Stripes stamp set. I stamped it in smokey shadow ink to create the background.  For my flowers I layered two of the Scribbles die to create the white flower.  I used one of the scalloped Friendly Flowers die to create the orange flower.  I die cut two and stamped both with Feather Finery to create some texture.  I topped it off with a terracotta stitched button.   I used Lovely Layers  stamp set and dies to create the leaves.   I stamped the sentiment from Friendly Flowers in hybrid black licorice ink.  I finished with some black and white iridescent sequins.

Wishing You...

I had a few moments to get crafty today!  I am playing along with this week's VLV Weekly Sketch Challenge and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge.  I have a card to share using some products I received from the Summer Coffee Lovers Bloghop Win!  I received some beautiful goodies from Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.  I thought I would use some of my new beauties on today's card.  Thank you so much, Sharon!

I started with Pebbles Cottage Living paper pad.  I love the colors beautiful subtle toned patterns in this collection.   I layered a few of the patterns to comply with the sketch.  I added a section of a paper doily from my craft stash.  I used Verve's newly released Flourish Tag die.  I stamped the sentiment from Verve's Wishing You stamp set.  I stamped a light colored heart behind the sentiment from Verve's More Than Love stamp set.  I added a My Mind's Eye On Trend coral heart.   I added a seam binding bow from Verve's Signature Ribbon Collection and topped it off with a Petaloo Botanica Minis  coral flower.  I finished my card with a clear gem stickpin and some clear gems.

Thank You!

Happy Saturday!  I finally got a chance to get crafty this afternoon.  I have a card to share.  I am playing along with Colour Me and Freshly Made Sketches.  I just love these colors.

For my card I am using  started with MFT smooth white and kraft.  I die cut the kraft panel with blueprints 23.  I stamped the fine linen background in natural ink.  I chose to create the bouquet in the center offset slightly by the sentiment in the upper left corner.  Once again,  I gravitated toward MFT Watercolor Flowers stamp set.  I used the coordinating die namics and stamped the flowers using a mixture of sno cone, summer splash, and berrylicious inks for the blues and grape jelly and lavender fields inks for the eggplant tones.  I used jellybean green and sour apple inks for the leaves.   I arranged the flowers using some foam mounting tape for added dimension.  I stamped the sentiment from You're the Sweetest stamp set.  I stamped the sentiment in hybrid black licorice ink.  I finished with a few iridescent sequins.

Happy Birthday and Welcome Baby!

I am popping in with a couple of cards to share.  For the first card I am playing along with MFT Weekly Sketch Challenge , The Color Throwdown,  and Just Add Ink.

I started with MFT smooth white and blu raspberry card stocks.  I created my sentiment panel by using Blueprints 20 stitched frame cut twice using blu raspberry and smooth white.  I die cut the blu raspberry panel with one of the ride the wave die namics.  I used my MISTI for perfect placement of the sentiment from Wavy Greetings stamp set using razzle berry ink.  I stamped the blu raspberry using Happy Birthday background stamp in blu raspberry ink and popped up using foam mounting tape.  Next, I die cut and stamped You're the Sweetest popsicles.  I used razzle berry ink to stamp some raspberry flavored popsicles. I finished with a few sequins and loose thread.

Welcome Baby!

For my second card I am playing along with The Sweet Sunday Sketch
and Casology.  I needed a baby card for a colleague.

I started with smooth white card stock.  I used blueprints 13 stitched frame.  I stamped the panel with snowfall background using lemon chiffon ink.  I layered the sketch elements in the center using the stitched circle from blueprints 18 for the stitched circle and star.  I used Tag Builder 3 for the scalloped pierced frame.   I used MFT Beautiful Baby for the sentiments.  I used the MISTI again for perfect placement of both the sentiments.  I finished the card with a few sequins.

Muse: Christmas Visions Challenge MCV7!

Happy Wednesday!  It is the 3rd Wednesday of the month and time for my  MUSE:  Christmas Vision Card Club
Challenge!

I hope my card inspires you to create a Christmas creation of your own.  I can't wait to see what you create.  Make sure you link up your creations HERE!

For my card I am using MFT Smooth White and Blueberry card stocks.  I used Blueberry ink that I stamped onto a craft mat.  I used a little water with a brush and created some watercolor night sky horizon strokes (technical term ;0).  I used MFT Starry Christmas and Starry Christmas die namics to create the reindeer focal point.  I used white embossing powder to heat emboss the white onto white card stock for effect.   I did the same for the sentiment, but onto Blueberry card stock.  I finished with some loose quilting thread and sequins.

Miss You and Beautiful!

Happy Saturday!  I have a couple of cards to share today.  For my first card, I am using the colors from The ColourQ, Retro Sketches,
and Simon Says Challenge For the Love of Plants.

I used a kraft base that I stamped with a natural ink to darken it up a bit to look more like soft suede.  I layered the elements from the sketch.   I used MFT Written in Watercolors sentiment set.  I die cut the Modern Bloom die namics and stamped with the coordinating Modern Blooms stamp set.  I finished with a few sequins.

For my next card, I am playing along with CAS(E) this Sketch, The Card Concept Inspiration Challenge, and Just Us Girls Stacked die cut Challenge.

For this card I started with some MFT Smooth White card stock.  I used my Mini Ink Blending Tools and Mini Ink Blending Foam Refills to blend MFT Razzle Berry, Blu Raspberry, and Grape Jelly inks.  I then die cut one of the solid Fancy Butterfly die namics.  I die cut the detailed one with smooth white and added it on top.  I added the sentiment from Tickled Pink.  I finished with a few clear gems and sequins.

Let's Chill and Sprinkled With Love!

I am back with another post today.  I have a couple of fun cards this time.  I just love this adorable Penguin from MFT Penguins in Paradise stamp set.    I am playing along with this week's Fusion Card Challenge and Just Us Girls Challenge.

I finished my card with a few clear iridescent sequins.  I got those from StarlitStudios.

I have a second card.  I technically started it last weekend, but did not have a chance to finish it.  Lucky for me The Card Concepts Challenge is still going.  I totally used the inspiration colors and theme for this card.  I kept with whites and soft grays with a few pops of green.

I kept this card pretty simple, too.  I am using MFT You're the Sweetest stamp set.  I embossed the iciing in white.  I added a few sprinkles from MFT  Donuts die namics.   I finished my card with a few white iridescent sequins and clear sequins.  I got both from Starlitstudios.

Thanks So Much!

Happy Sunday!  Popping in with a quick post.  Finally, had a chance to squeeze in some stamping time between working, household chores, and running errands.    The end of the school year is such a busy time.  I still have a couple of weeks left of school before Summer Break begins.  Will not be long now, though.  I am so looking forward to some much needed down time.

Anyway, I just had to get inky since my new MFT Stamps arrived.    I am playing along with this week's CASe this Sketch.  I just love this sketch.  I just knew MFT Watercolor Flowers and Written in Watercolor stamp sets would work perfectly.   These new watercolor flowers may become a "go to" set for me.  Love the depth and the dimension created with the 3-step stamping.  I kept the card simple and finished with some sequins.
