Muse Christmas Visions Challenge CVC33!

Happy Wednesday!  It is the 3rd Wednesday of the month and time for  MUSE:  Christmas Vision Card Club Challenge!

For my card, I die cut a PTI Fresh Snow Linen card stock panel with Stitched Rectangles die.  I masked off an oval in the center using PTI Shakers and Sprinkles Oval die.  I used Mustard Seed Shimmer Mist and just flicked all around the card this golden shimmery specks.   I stamped the Navity from Petite Places: Nativity Mini Stamp set.  I added a bit of shimmer pen to the night star.  I love the simplicity of this design.

I hope my card inspires you to create a Christmas creation of your own.  I can't wait to see what you create.  Make sure you link up your creations HERE!

Muse Christmas Visions 25 Days of Christmas Tags!

Welcome to Muse:  Christmas Vision 30!  Today, MCV is sponsoring Day 24 of Tracey's The 25 Days of Christmas Tags event. There are prizes to be won on Tracey's Blog "In My Creative Opinion" and also at MCV. Make sure you go and check out the details!

The whole MCV Design Team (and some special guests) are playing along today. The MCV Tag theme is red and green with a tree element.

Here is my tag!

I started with a die cut watercolor paper tag.  I watercolored the background and let it dry.  I added a coating of Wink of Stella all over the background.  Next, I stamped my sentiment from Verve's Christmas in the Air stamp set several times using my MISTI.

I die cut two Verve's Winter Fun die set Christmas trees in red and green glitter card stock and added to the tag.

I added some red and white twine, two bells, and a few of Verve's Shine Bright Sequin Mix, and my tag was ready to go.  I just love all of the sparkle!

As always thanks so much for hopping by!

Muse Christmas Visions Challenge CVC29!

Happy Wednesday!  It is the 3rd Wednesday of the month and time for  MUSE:  Christmas Vision Card Club Challenge!

I die cut the Sentiments Splits:Curve Vertical die in pure poppy.  I only used the top portion. I glued it to a PTI  white card stock base.  I then die cut and stamped Spruce and Sprigs onto stampers white card stock using pinefeather, pure poppy, and new leaf inks.  I die cut a few of the sprigs with gold foil card stock.

I created the arrangement and popped a few pieces up using foam mounting tape.  I stamped the "Merry" in black using the Christmas Cheer stamp set.  I die cut the "Christmas" using Christmas Cheer dies in gold foil.  I love the card as it is and felt it really did not need any further embellishing.

Whether you are inspired by the colors, the gold, the spruce and sprigs, or just the festive layers, I hope my card inspires you to create a Christmas creation of your own.  I can't wait to see what you create.  Make sure you link up your creations HERE!

Muse Christmas Visions Challenge CVC25!

Happy Wednesday!  It is the 3rd Wednesday of the month and time for  MUSE:  Christmas Vision Card Club Challenge!

I just knew I was going to have to use my new PTI Enclosed Bell die and stamp set.  I cannot believe that they set on my crafty desk for almost a month before I got a chance to use them.   I am just over the moon with how beautiful these layered bells look assembled.  I am so glad I ordered them.

I die cut the bells with PTI Pure Poppy and Gold Foil card stock.  I inked the edges of the red bells with MFT Electric Red ink.  I stamped the holly and berries using MFT electric red and MFT Field Day inks onto PTI stamper's select white.
I added the Background Basics Sheet Music stamp set stamped with MFT Field Day ink onto Field Day card stock.  I thought about adding some sequins, but I decided against it.  I really just love it the way it is.  The card base is PTI stamper's select white.

Whether you are inspired by the colors, the gold, the bells, or a Christmas song, I hope my card inspires you to create a Christmas creation of your own.  I can't wait to see what you create.  Make sure you link up your creations HERE!

Muse: Christmas Visions Challenge MCV20!

Happy Wednesday!  It is the 3rd Wednesday of the month and time for my
MUSE:  Christmas Vision Card Club Challenge!

I finally got a chance to ink up my new PTI Twig Wreath set.  I sort of went a wee bit wreath crazy.   I am going for a fuller wreath look.  I found all the stamping very therapeutic.   I started with a scarlet jewel card base layered with a scarlet jewel.  Both the card base and the layer have been swiped with versamark to add some texture.

I die cut a stitched rectangle with some cream card stock.  I stamped the twig wreath three times using chocolate ink.  I slightly moved the stamp each time to create a more fuller look.  I then stamped all my greenery.  I created a cluster at the bottom using the coordinating dies.  I stamped the sentiment using PTI Signature Greetings stamp set in black licorice hybrid ink.  I popped the cream panel up with some foam mounting tape.  I finished the card with a few burgundy sequins.

I hope my card inspires you to create a Christmas creation of your own.  I can't wait to see what you create.  Make sure you link up your creations HERE!
