Sarah's Birthday Hop!

Happy Saturday!  Today is Sarah Bigelow's (one of the Mojo Makers) Birthday and we are celebrating her birthday with a birthday blog hop and blogoversary with a sketch. I hope you join us on this special hop as there is Verve blog candy to be won!  To find out all the details head over to Sarah's blog.

For my card I am using Verve's Blue Skies and Happiness Found stamp sets.  I love this sentiment and thought it would work great for a Happy Birthday card, too.  I used the flourished image from the Blue Skies set to create some frame detailing for the sentiment area to play off of the designer paper design.  I stamped the image and rocked and rolled in various combinations of ripe avocado with adirondack pool or memento lady bug red.  I love how it looked.  I distressed the edges a bit to give some subtle texture! I finished my card with some gold pearls, seam binding bow, and a cool flower accent that I bought!

As always, thanks so much for hopping by!  Enjoy the HOP!
