Birthday Blog HOP!

Let’s light the candles and strike up the music!! The owner of Flourishes – Jan Marie Caruso – is celebrating a birthday and we’re helping her by getting the party started with just about the entire Flourishes Crew!  Why not leave some love on her blog HERE and while you are hopping around, pay a visit to the Flourishes team members who are honoring her special day!

For my card I am using one of my all time favorite Flourishes sets.  I am using Birds and Vines stamp set.  I chose to use the smaller image in the set.  I inked with Tuxedo black Memento ink  and stamped on Flourishes Classic Ivory card stock.   I sponged the edges.  I highlighted the flower images with some glitter using a Quickie glue pen.  For the sentiment I am using the Hollyhocks set.  I chose the sentiment It's Your Day!  I used the next to smallest die in the Spellbinder's Doily Heart Circles for my sentiment tag.  I finished with some black lace and cream seam binding bow topped with a flower and natural colored memory thread curly que.
