Happy Sunday! I am playing along with week's Papertrey's Make It Monday Challenge. This week we are to make an easel card. I needed a baby card for a couple at school who met, fell in love, got married, and now are expecting their first baby. I thought the chalkboard easel design was fitting for two teachers for this wonderful occasion.
With school starting back, I have not had as much time to get crafty lately. I just had to play in this PTI challenge, though. I guess it is no surprise that I started with the Shakers and Sprinkles dies. I go to these dies a lot! I used the stitched oval to create the easel base. I used the square to make my chalkboard frame.

As always thanks so much for stopping by!
Betty
Oh, Betty, they are going to treasure this always! It's genius to use the chalkboard easel design as your card for the teachers!! I love that curved oval cutout to make the feet, too, which I think gives the card a crib feel. And your sweet red/white twine and wee heart tag are the perfect punctuation!! It's just fabulous all the way around!! Thank you so much for playing in my second NBUS Challenge! Hugs, Darnell
