Papertrey Ink Countdown Day 2!

Card 1 ~ Happy Holidays!


Stamps: This Is Big Sentiments Christmas Tags stamp set
Dies: Cover Plate: Let It Snow, Holiday Tag: Let It Snow, Hold That Thought dies set, This Is Big Sentiments Christmas Tags dies aet
Paper: white, Weathervane, Pure Poppy
Ink: Pure Poppy, Weather Vane, Smokey Shadow
Other: white acrylic paint, seam binding

Tip
When using colored cardstock, blend the same ink or a slightly darker hue around the edges or at the bottom of the sentiment to add some depth and dimension.




I inkblended the background using some weathervane and smokey shadow inks. I die cut the snowflake layer and popped it up onto the background panel.  



I arranged the elements onto the card base. I added some white splatters.  I finished the card and tag with a sequins.

Card 2 ~ Merry Christmas!


Stamps: This Is Big Sentiments Christmas Tags stamp set, Hear the Bells stamp set, Merry Motifs stamp set,
Dies: Cover Plate: Let It Snow, Holiday Tag: Let It Snow, Hear the Bells dies set, Into the Bloom: Swag dies set, Candy Cane Classics dies set (bow)
Paper: white, Sweet Blush, Pure Poppy
Ink: Pure Poppy, Sweet Blush, Fine Linen, Hawaiian Shores
Other: white acrylic paint, gold paint, Metallic gold pearls

Tips
- To create muted tones, stamp the image in the desired color then stamp it again with some fine linen ink.  Repeat the process until you get the desire color that you want.
-To stretch the look of your cover plate dies, try trimming out sections to create different looks.  Here, I trimmed away the sentiment and a couple of snowflakes.  I flipped the cover plate around so the bottom is now the top.  Since the words are not there, it works.  Plus, I get a different look.
I stamped, diecut, and inkblended all of elements. I added white and gold splatters.    



 I arranged the elements onto the card base. I stamped and diecut the sentiment.  I embellished the card with a few metallic gold pearls.


Card 3 ~ Let It Snow!


Dies: Cover Plate: Let It Snow, Holiday Tag: Let It Snow, Cover Plate: Stitched Snowflake die
Paper: white
Ink: Amethyst Allure, Royal Velvet
Other: white acrylic paint, Silver Metallic cardstock, Metallic Silver pearls


I inkblended and diecut all of elements.  I arranged the elements onto the card base.  



  I added white splatters. I finished the card with a few metallic silver pearls.


Card 4 ~Merry Christmas!


Stamps: Christmas Wishes stamp set, Alphabet stamps set
Dies: Christmas Wishes dies set, In Frames: Circles dies set 
Ink: Hibiscus Burst, Pure Poppy, Spring Moss, Hawaiian Shores
Paper: white, Hawaiian Shores, Spring Moss, Pure Poppy
Other:  Metallic Silver Pearls, white acrylic paint, vellum, sequins, versamark, white embossing powder


I stamped the background using the new alphabet stamp.  I stamped, diecut, and inkblended all of elements.  


  
 I arranged the elements onto the card base. I stamped and white embossed the sentiment. I cut it apart and used just the Merry Christmas for this card.  I finished the card using a few sequins.
