This card is for today's Limited Supplies Challenge(LSC224)! Thanks, Judy for hosting!!! For the challenge we were to use only colors of water (ANY shades of blues, grays and greens) and sand (ANY neutrals).
Other required elements: (use ALL)
1)ribbon, hemp/twine, OR fibers
2)brads
3)piercing
I decided to use colors of teal from the
Prism by Prismatics cardstock. I love these wonderful colors and subtle textures. I am using a newly released stamp set from ODBD called Quiet Waters and Sing to the Lord sets. I colored my image with copic markers. I cut out the deer and baby and colored them with a blender pen and ranger inks. I used dimensionals to pop them up a bit. I added a Martha Stewart punch along with a spellbinders pierciblities for the piercing requirement for my card. I used the ornare piercing mat and piercer tool to make the piercing part super easy. This piercing tool slides through the tiny holes like butter. A must have if you do any piercing. I finished my card with some making memories sparkle brads in the corner and a little white bow to fulfill the remaining required elements.
This card also is for Sharon Johnson's (ssnotime91) challenge to use half circles in our layout. I let my focal image be my half circle.
