Now on to my creations!
I have five cards to share today. My first two cards used CZ Design US Craft-Ay stamp set. When a set has small images like this set, I like to combine them all on an acrylic block and create a background.
I started with a piece of black card stock. I stamped the cluster of images randomly over the entire panel and white embossed to create a background. I added some white splatters. I layered this panel onto a top folding black card stock base using foam tape.
I added a sentiment using Leafy Frames stamp set and yellow card stock. I finished this card with a few clear sequins.
For this card, I used Schoolhouse red card stock. I stamped the the clustered images using versamark ink. I did not emboss this one. I did stamp and color with Copic markers a few of the images and die cut with circle dies to create a fun layout.
I used one of the sentiments from the stamp set and white embossed onto black card stock. I finished the card with a few clear sequins.
My next two cards use the So Beautiful cling stamp. I love the versatility of this image. I also love that it comes with a sentiment. The other day I stamp a portion of the image onto the bottom right of a card. Today, I used the bottom left of the card. I colored the image with Copic Markers. I added several splatters using brown acrylic paint mixed with water and some metallic gold paint mixed with water.
I added this panel to a top folding stone card stock base. I added the sentiment using Beautiful Butterflies stamps set. For this card I also am using the Etched Dragonfly Wafer die. I die cut the dragonfly out using vellum for the wings and black card stock for the body. I sandwiched the vellum between two dragonfly body pieces for dimension and durability when mailing. I added some wink of stella to the layered wings for some shimmer.
I sponged the edges of the kraft with versamark ink to create some depth and dimension. I finished my card with a few clear sequins.
For my last card I have to share today, I decided not to add a sentiment.
I started with some black watercolor paper and used shimmer metallic watercolor paints to create a simple background. I added some splatters for effect using the same colors.
I backed the black watercolor panel with some gold foil card stock using foam tape. Then, I glued the panel to a top folding card base. I created two of the Etched Dragonfly Wafer die dragonflies to add to my card. I layered the wings and colored with Wink of Stella. I finished this card with a few clear sequins.
I hope you have enjoyed the cards I created for today. Do you have a favorite? I would like to know!
As always thanks so much for hopping by!
