I made a few Prayer Pillows. The idea came to me from the tooth fairy pillows, but I think having some prayer pillows to give to some of my daughter's friends is a good idea, too. The idea is to write down your prayers, tuck into the pocket, pray about it, and hang from nightstand or bedpost. I designed these prayer pillows using felt. I cut assorted colors at 4 1/4" squares. I cut out the ODBD tag die cut in various colors of felt to create the prayer pockets. I cut each tag to create a different color base with overlapping flap. I stitched the pockets on first. Then, I stitched squares and stuff with stuffing. I added coordinating grosgrain ribbon for handles. I finished with a button and red and white twine bow.

What wonderful little gift pillows these are, Betty! I think that is a fabulous idea and they are just so sweet, too. I just love little creations from felt. They make me think of some of my favorite treasured Christmas ornaments.
