Live Well, Laugh Often, and Love Much! Mojo, CR84FN, and MORE!

Happy Thursday everyone!   I had some time to play in my craft room today.  So, are you setting your clocks to get up to see the Royal Wedding tomorrow?  I am.  I think I need to set it for 4:30/5:00am so I can see some of the footage before it all begins.  My dh laughed at me when I told him I was going to get up and watch it.  It must be a girl thing.  LOL!  I watched Diana get married back in 1981 and just have to watch Prince William's Wedding.

Okay, back to the card.  I am using this week's MojoMonday188 Sketch.  I also decided to dive into my LilyBeeDesigns Picket Fence paper pad.  I am using the colors from CR84FN25.   For my card I am using Verve's Dream Big, the Newly Released Bloom & Grow(large leaf image), and the new Elegant Leaves Die and the Sweet Scallop Die for the edge border.  My leaf image was slightly stamped onto the text font dp sort of haphazard so the image is not perfect, but more rustic.  I added buttons and some silver pearls to mimic leafy veins.  I also distressed the egdes with ink and a paper distressing tool.  I also bent the leaves in a bit to give them even more texture.  I finish with a few touches of sparkle.

I also am playing in a few other blog challenges.
The ABC Challenge:   S is for Sparkle
 Incy Wincy:  Buttons and Bows
Simon Says Stamp:  Shows some buttons
The Crazy Challenge:  different patterned papers
Craft Your Passion: Show us your layers
Crafts and Me:  vintage/distressed(mostly distressed)
A Gem of a Challenge:  Pearls or Swirls(silver pearls)

Stamps:Verve's Dream Big, the Newly Released Bloom & Grow(large leaf image)
Paper;  Flourishes classic ivory, SU cherry cobler, LilyBeeDesigns(picket fence) dp
Ink:  Memento rhubarb, PTI chamomile, chai
Accessories:  Spellbinders nestabilities circle, petite scallops, MFT doily, Verve Elegant Leaves Die and Sweet Scallop Die , foam circles, glue dots, seam binding, buttons, may arts ivory twine, silver pearls, glue pen, stampendous glitter, sewing machine

  15. Great use of the mojo sketch and insp. piece. Lovely colours and classic Betty touches :) 3:00 AM was a tad early for me to get up and watch the wedding so I'm happy to settle for the re-runs LOL! Just saw her dress and love the clean, classic lines and the fact it had sleeves on it! Have a great weekend.
