Happy Thursday, everyone! For my cards today I created Seed Packet Pocket Photo Card/frames! Say that three times really fast. I made two cards with different colors showcasing my children but mainly focusing on different size photos. I laughed because I had a hard time finding smaller pictures. The one of my dd is from a couple of years ago and the one of my son is from last year. I buy school pictures, but they seem to disappear. I guess between all the family and friends the stash gets depleted quickly.
It is the time of year when kids go back to school and get the yearly school pictures taken. This is a fun way to not only showcase the picture for sending, but it is also functional as the card can act as a frame. The picture can be removed for adding to a wallet as well.
For both cards I am using the newly released Seed Packet set. I used the stamp a ma jig to perfectly place the sentiments in the frames. I also used score tape to secure the pocket back to the front. I used the Brocade Border Dies to cut out the center frame on both. Since my dd picture is smaller, I used the Brocade Borders stamp set to frame the picture. I kept both photo cards pretty simple and just finished with seam binding bow, button, pearls, and memory thread. Anyway, just another fun way to use the Seed Packet set. I can see these making great picture ornaments to give to family at Christmastime as well. Just embossing the seed packet front in gold would dress it up beautifully.
From here, you will hop to the Our Daily Bread Design's Blog! As Always thanks so much for stopping by!
