Congrats! The Best is Yet to Come! MFT Sketch 70!

Happy Thursday!  I just purchased me some much wanted MFT die-namics!  WooHoo!   I got them in the mail yesterday and just had to play!  I am using the MFT Sketch 70.

For the focal image I am using a Pure Innocence Out on a Limb set.  I do not have many people stamps.  I layered my PI girl with the Decorative Doily die. I colored with Copics.   I am also using one of the rolled flower dies.  The sentiment comes from the free set I got with purchase Clearly Sentimental about Anniversaries.  Now, I used the sentiment that could work for anything really.  I added Congrats inside so this card could be used for a graduation card for a girl.

For the two separate panels on the left side of the sketch, I chose to use the negative space cut from the notebook edge.  I just love it when I can get two looks or possibly more from one die cut.  I cut two notebook edges.  I used the negative space not the actual notebook edge cut.  I then wove those two pieces together to get the look I wanted.  I layered with a piece of coordinating designer paper.  I love how it sort of looks like an eyelet stitch.  Not sure that is the correct term, but it does look like a stitch.

For the inside I went with CONGRATS.  I just had to have the new capital letter die-namics alphabet.  I love the size.  I layered the letters with dp and some lightweight kraft cardstock for added dimension.  The top and bottom panels I used the decorative doily border die.  I love the look on the bottom when I layered two facing.

Anyway, thanks for letting me indulge with some newbies!  As always, thanks so much for stopping by!
