Wishing You a Very Merry, Merry Christmas!

Happy Saturday!  I am popping in with a card to share.  I made another Christmas card.

I am playing along with Papertrey Ink Make It Monday.  The challenge is to create pattern stamped frames.

I started with some PTI select white card stock.  I die cut the Bold Borders: Yuletide die for my frame.  I masked off the lower half and ink blended the top using some barn door distressed oxide ink and added some fired brick distress ink to make the color a little deeper and richer.  I masked off the top then ink blended the bottom using mowed lawn distressed oxide ink.  I let the panel dry thoroughly before I white embossed the script background(retired set) pattern over the top.

Next, I stamped and die cut the holly and berries from Spruce and Sprigs stamp set and Spruce and Sprigs die set using New Leaf and a slightly darker green ink.  For the berries I used pure poppy and a touch of scarlet jewel inks. I stamp the spruce image from Holiday Greens stamp set and die cut with the Holiday Greens die set using versamark and gold embossed.

For the sentiment, I white embossed the sentiment from Sentiment Staples: Christmas Mini stamp set.  I used the Wine Bottle Tag "2 die for the sentiment strip and gold embossed the "Merry Christmas" using another sentiment from the same set.

I assembled my card using some foam tape for added dimension.  I adhere the panel to a top folding PTI select white card stock base.  I finished my card with some clear sequins.

As always thanks so much for stopping by!
