Hello friends! I have a card to share today using some new products I got for Christmas!
I really love layered stencils. What can make layering stencils any better? The coordinating die, of course! The only stamping on this card was the sentiment. This process really delivers a WOW FACTOR! It is so easy to line up the images, too!
I am using Pinkfresh Studio Layered Stencils Daisy Wreath along with the coordinating Daisy Wreath die. For the background panels I used one of the Diamond Plaid stencils. For the background panel I used some MFT sno cone ink around the edges to create a soft fading to center look. I stamped a sentiment using Pinkfresh Floral Notes stamp set with Versafine Onyx black ink. I die cut the panel with a stitched rectangle die and used foam tape to pop it up onto a select white card stock base.
I used some Pinkfresh Studio candy apple, sunshine and sweet mustard inks mixed Simon Says Stamps Watermelon ink for the flowers. I used InktoPaper Ripe Avocado and Olive Twist inks for the leaves to create the beautiful focal wreath. I used an assortment of blending tools just to see what I liked. I preferred sponge daubers for smaller sections and shading along with some makeup brushes I have had in my stash for years. I felt these options gave me better control.
I die cut the wreath three times and glued together with some Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive to give my focal image some strength and dimension. I finished the card with a few clear sequins.
