Irish Blessing C4C!

Happy Saturday!   It is Saturday and it is time for another challenge with the Crazies over on the Crazy 4 Challenges C4C138! Barbara is the host and she is challenging us to create a one layer card.  We can use an accent die cut or ribbon, but it must be a true one layer.  Nothing but the base!    Check out the link to find out how to play along.

I normally do not do one layer cards.  However, for this challenge I decided to embrace it.  My first decision was to use ivory cardstock and try to cover as much of it up as I could with ink....lol!   Not really, but it was a place to start.  I decided to use Verve's New Mercies leafy image stamped in Ranger peeled paint and Memento New Sprout inks to show some depth of color.  I then stamped the Irish Blessing from Verve's Blessings stamp set with Memento tuxedo black.   I finished with some Ranger ink distressed edges and a simple gingham bowtie knot.

As always thanks so much for stopping by!
