This card is for the Sketch Challenge(SC223). I actually made an A2 card. It has been awhile as most of my cards are 5.5" or 6" square. This size is hard for me. So little spaced to work with...lol!!!! I am using ODBD newly release Children of God. I am using some Memory Box Butterfield dp and Ranger Inks. I love this dp. The pattern size is very small on many of the pieces. It is perfect for cardmaking. I used an EK success border punch and finished my card with a layered textured prima fleur.
This card should have been pretty simple to do, but I was having a fit with the size. Like I said it has been awhile since I did a card this size. I have forgotten how small the work area is. I tried several things, that did not work do to the size constraints. I ended up using only a portion of the Jesus image in the inset square. I did not color as I felt the coloring in this small a space would have detracted from the verse and whole look. I did sponge the edges with some Ranger inks. I used the antique linen and the old paper. I just recently got the old paper. It has a green hue to it. I stamped the scripture directly to the Memory Box Butterfield dp. I was wondering how to use some of these scene pics that come in the dp pack. I thought this look was perfect. I finished my card with one of the layered flowers in the Prima Fleur Nursery vintage collection. I did change out the small silver brad to a jumbo cream one by Making Memories.
