Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC21)!!!

It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC21).

This week Silke Ledlow is hosting. Silke is challenging us to a sketch she has designed. As far as sketches go, there is not much explanation necessary. You can turn it and enlarge the sections to fit your card size. However, in the end, it should still look like the sketch. Good Luck!!!! Looking forward to seeing what you create with it!!!

I am using the Nasturtiums stamp set. This set comes with so many fabulous images. I love that there is almost always one large and one smaller image that is pretty much the same stamp. Having both looks is fabulous. I used the large image to create a background. I have played around with my images and realized the larger image nests perfectly stamp one way and upside down the other. I stamped a whole sheet of cardstock and colored. I cut out a 5 X 5 section for my background.

I am using the newly released Flourishes Copic Color Collections. I just cannot begin to tell you how absolutely thrilled I am to have these color groupings. I only owned 20 copic markers prior to purchasing these groups primarily because it was impossible to know which colors worked together and blended. My initial purchase of 20 did not blend well. These color groupings are perfect together. Everything works and blends beautifully.

I colored my background and focal images with the Tiger Lily, Dusty Rose, Poppy, and Spring Greens collections. I used the Cool Neutral collection to create shadow. I edged around all of the images with the C1 marker to create shadow to give my background some depth and dimension. I call this the Shadowed Background Technique. Amazing how one marker can create so much depth. I stamped one of the smaller images along with the sentiment to create my framed focal piece.

I framed my card following the sketch using petite oval nesties. I ran the top green leaf cardstock through the swiss dot cb ef to add textured. I sponged it with wild wasabi to give it some definition. I finished my card with some ribbon and gold pearl domes.
