Stamping In Time: On Assignment SNTODBD7!

It is time for Stamping In Time: On Assignment Challenge(SNTODBD7)!  This week Randi Barrett is our challenge host!  Randi is challenging us to tearing!  Now, you can include actual tearing or create a faux torn look.    Check out the ODBD SNT blog link to find out how to play along!

I am using one of ODBD Second Anniversary sets called Scripture Collection 3.   I love these collections of Anniversary sets.  They truly are must haves.    This scripture really speaks to me, too.  One of my favorites.  I am using a piece of Prima designer paper.  I tore it at the bottom and inked with some Ranger inks in vintage photo and spiced marmalade.  I layered it with another torn edge using ivory cardstock.  The base of the card is Prism by Prismatics cardstock.   I kept this card case for this week's SCS Clean and Simple Challenge (CAS61)!  To use the sentiment as only stamp.  This dp comes with the oval section made into the dp.  It looks very layered, but it is just a single sheet.    I finished my card with touches of gold pearls, satin ribbon, button, and gold metallic dew drop.   Also, this card is for this week's ODBD Shining the Light Challenge(ODBDSLC7)...real or faux stitching! I kept the stitching simple to comply with the CAS styling.  I folded the top right corner over and faux stitched just the corner section.

Please check out Angie, Chris, Debi, and Randi's blogs to see what they each created with the "tear it" challenge!

As always thank so much for stopping by!

  4. This is one of my favorite verses - always reminds me to stop doing or fixing or fretting and just sit and put everything into persepective - as in He is in control. You have framed it fabulously with the DP. Great card.
