Welcome to Verve's May Spotlight Hops! A

Today we're sharing our first projects featuring the Beautiful Things stamp set, Beautiful Flowers Die Set and the Stitched Pennants Die Set.

I have had so much fun playing with the new release products. The flowers from Beautiful Things stamp set are so fun and beautiful to watercolor! I white embossed and watercolored my flowers. I die cut using the Beautiful Flowers die cut set.
I layered the smaller flower on top of the larger one for added dimension. I also die cut the leaves and watercolored those. I arranged my flowers and leaves to a piece of watercolored patterned paper that I had stamped with a sentiment from the same set. I finished the card with some Verve Shine Bright Sequin Mix.

ReplyDeleteWow! I really like this card! The abundance of the leaves background makes it look so rich! And, I do love watercolor softness. And the black/white piano strip just makes all the elements come together with song. Beautiful.
