Happy Wednesday!  I am popping in with a card to share for this month's Papertrey Ink May Blog Hop!

I chose to use a watercolor background with some splatters along with pops of colors using these fun sketch florals.  I used stormy sky for the contrast stamping on the flowers.   I also loved that the inspiration picture sported a dual font sentiment, so these sentiments from the set worked perfectly.

Instead of stamping in a soft gray, I opted to heat emboss on gold using some Heat Resistant Acetate that I die cut with a stitched pennant die.  I think the acetate showcases the sentiment as well as the watercolor background beautifully. I just had to add some wink of stella to the centers of the flowers for some extra shimmer!

As always thanks so much for hopping by!

  1. Betty, your floral card is absolutely stunning! I can even see the Wink of Stella centers. Heat embossing on acetate looks fabulous, especially in gold.
