Verve May Spotlight Hops- Day 2!

Verve Stamps May 2016 Spotlight Hops

DAY 2 - Thursday, 5/19/16
Welcome back to Day 2 of Verve's May Spotlight Hops!  The Verve Divas and special guests are back for another day of spotlighting our new release! Everything previewed this week will be available to order in the Verve online store on Friday, May 20.
Today we're sharing our first projects featuring the Love Everlasting stamp set, Everlasting Heart Die Set and the Copper Blush Sequin Mix

If you got here from the fabulously talented
Lori Craig's blog you are in the right place!

For this card, I started with watercolor paper.  I inked the stamp with different colors of distress inks and spritzed with water before I stamped.  I added some additional ink splatters.  I then die cut and stamped the hearts  and layered over a partial gold and white doily for the focal image.

I layered over the hearts  a gold embossed sentiment on vellum  using the stitched pennant die set.  I finished with some of the new Copper Blush Sequin Mix.
