Stamping In Time On Assignment Challenge(SNTODBD28)!

Welcome to Our Daily Bread Designs Stamping In Time: On Assignment Challenge(SNTODBD28)! The assignment is Our Daily Bread Design stamps. We have a challenge host this rotation. Please give a warm welcome to Wanda Cullen! Wanda is challenging us to a theme with a twist. "It's a Distress Call!" You use any distressing techniques such as tearing, sponging, sanding, crumpling, etc., but the twist is to actually mail your card to encourage someone who has some real life distress going on and could use a little encouragement. For my card I am using ODBD Faith stamp set. I decided to go a wee bit CAS styled today. Well, it is definitely CAS for me. My distressing is mostly sponging and a little bit of rolled paper edges. I colored the image using copic markers and added a touch of sparkle with a sakura gel pen. The colors are from The Curtain Call Act 68! Who can pass up these springtime hues? I used a little doily that I offset off the edge. I think someone called this look a sidekick before. I am also using some mini pom pom fringe that I distressed with some PTI camomille using the cube itself and lightly brushing across the pom poms. This stuff is too cute! Look, no bow! Amazing feat for me!

Love your card, as always, my friend. I had to stop and stare at your stamped image for a while. Love your coloring job and love the detail of that image. Looks fabulous as a side-kick with the doily. Love that cute saying. ;) great job with the distressing, and you did an amazing job on this, even without ribbon.:)
