This week's challenge is a sketch!
It has definitely been a little crazy around here getting back into a school schedule. I spent several days decorating, dusting, and organizing my classroom as well as attending some workshops. When I finally found the time to spend some time in my crafty space, I created a card and totally left off a section of the sketch. I must have a mental sketch block or something. I only see the elements I want to see? LOL! Anyway, it has taken me til now to get a chance to make another, hence the late post!
For my first card I am using Verve's Sweet Treats and So Fluttery stamp sets. I am also using Verve's Banner Bundle, Pennant Trim, Classy Label, and Flutterby dies. I finished my card using Verve's Stormy Skies Ribbon Collection in Deep Sea. I am using MME Oxford Lane dp. I am playing along with JUGS: Monochromatic Blues! I used all teals!
For my second card which does not follow the sketch exactly, I am using Verve's Up Up & Away and Circular Sayings stamp sets along with the Pennant Trim die cut with scissors to look more like grass in a meadow with a setting sun on the horizon. I rarely do many whimsical feeling cards, but I thought I would give it a try. I finished this card with Verve's Sailing Ribbon Collection in Moss Green. I also used MME Remarkable dp. I am playing along with the Curtain Calls Inspiration Challenge: Carnival Craze.
