Sound the A-Llama!

Happy Saturday!  I am popping in with a fun Birthday card to share.

I am playing along with The Card Concept

I love the inspiration image.  I need a birthday card, so I thought all these fun colors would be perfect. I did use a Llama instead of a pineapple, though.  I  started with some Strathmore watercolor paper.  I used an acrylic block to do the smooshing technique.  I felt I had more control and could get better saturation of colors this way.  I used my Gonsai Tambi Watercolors.  I dried in between colors with my heat gun.  I added a few splatters of the gold and bronze as well as some acrylic white to finish.

Once it was dried, I die cut the Avery Elle Scallop Mat die with my Gemini Jr. I love the soft detailing the scalloping adds. I added some foam tape to the back of the panel and popped it up onto a top folding PTI select white card stock.

Next, I stamped with Momento Tuxedo black ink and colored with Copic markers the images from Llamazing stamp set using PTI select white card stock.
Once the images were colored I die cut the images with the coordinating Llamazing die set.

I softly sponged just a touch of Ranger's Tumbled Glass ink using a make-up brush inside the background oval for a touch of blue sky.  I finished the card with a few clear sequins.

As always thanks so much for stopping by!
