Celebrating You!

Happy Wednesday!  I have a card to share today using the new inspiration photo from The Card Concept Challenge.

A new challenge starts today at
The Card Concept blog!  The theme is Time to Celebrate!   Hope you can join us and play along.

I was inspired by the circle elements, the gold, the silver, and the layout of the table.  I created a clean and layered card.

I started with some select white card stock.  I  die cut MFT large polka dot cover plate.  The closest one I can find is Avery Elle Polka Plate Elle Ments.   I backed the die cut polka dot plate with another piece of select white card stock.  I die cut the same plate using Tim Holtz silver metallic kraft for the gold and silver metallic polka dots.  I used some Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive and my reverse tweezers to inlay the white, silver, and gold polka dots to the plate.  I overlapped a few for interest as well as to follow the clustering of the inspiration piece.

I die cut the "You" from Simon Says Stamp You Matter set.  I used true black card stock.  I cut three and glued together for dimension.   For the added sentiment, I again reached for the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words stamp set.  I heat embossed using white embossing powder.  I die cut using Honey Bee Stamps Sentiment Banners.

I added some loose white thread to the card and glued my sentiments on top.  I added this panel to a top folding select white card stock base using foam tape.  I finished the card with several clear sequins.
