Sweet Baby!

It is time for Stamptacular Sunday Challenge!  This week's challenge is to get inspired from the Stamptacular Designer's cards!  Check out the link and take a look at all of the designer's cards and be inspired!   My idea for a source of inspiration is to dig out your stash and use some of those forgotten items.  First of all, I apologize for my less than active blogging this past week.    It has been a busy week.  I was sick last weekend and out of work a couple of days this week.   I started feeling better by week's end.  My dd was in a school play and I attended two of those later in the week.  I am so proud of her and the whole cast.  They performed RUMORS!  I am not exactly sure what my expectations were, but everyone who saw the production was totally blown away.  I am beaming with pride I tell you!  I jokingly mentioned that I needed her to autograph the program to have for when she is famous....lol!

For today's card, I played around with some stitches.  This week I had to sew on Boyscout patches for my son.  They need to be accurately placed and somewhat meticulously stitched.  Say What?  Oh, joy!  I actually had fun with the haphazard contrast stitches on this card.  Sort of created a fun stitched up babies blanket with four different patterns of Webster's Pages in my stash.  I am using the sketch from Truly Scrumptious Challenge this week.  I am using a Meljen's Digi Image.  This little babe is too cute!  Isn't he precious?   I feel like I am becoming a digi pro!  All the hearts, stars, swirls, and cloud lining are lined with a sakura clear sparkly gel pen.  Just enough sparkle to create a dreamy slumber!  I added some distressed crunched ribbon.  I added a heart button an a red gem.  I really wanted to have the red touches pop a bit.   I have been cleaning up my craftroom.  I HAVE way too much stuff that I sort of forgot about.  If it is not out in the open it is sort of forgotten.  I totally forgot about the baby bracelet beads in my stash.  I chose not to even string these up, but to add them to the edge of the circle like a little sentiment plate.  I really heart the placement and the finished look.   I rarely do cute, but I think this is two Sunday's in a row that I have done CUTE!  Well, be that alittle VINTAGE CUTE for this one!

This card is also for a few more challenges!
