Celebrate!

I am guest designing again for Ink to Paper/Papertrey Ink. I have a few projects to share showcasing products from the January and February 2020 Releases.

For my first card, I started with a top folding Select White card stock base. I used a piece of the Simple Impressions Celebration pattern paper.  I die cut a frame using Shape Shifters: Circle #1 die. I sponged some distressed oxide tumble glass in the center and along one edge.

Next, I die cut all the pieces from Sweet Celebration Die.  I also used To Die For Sentiments: Birthday Dies for the little loopy vine tendrils.  I used Select White card stock.

I used sponge daubers and detail blending tools to color and accent the leaves, strawberries, and flowers. I used Pure Poppy InkBerry Sorbet InkBright Buttercup InkGreen Parakeet ink, and Ripe Avocado ink.  I accented the strawberries with a white gel pen.  I finished the card with a few clear sequins.

I sponged a piece of white card stock with Raspberry Fizz ink, Hibiscus Burst Ink, Sweet Blush Ink going from darker at the bottom to lightest at the top just like the cupcake.  I die cut the "Birthday Wishes" sentiment using To Die For Sentiments: Birthday Dies.  I finished this card with a few clear sequins.

Next, I die cut the frame using true black card stock and the Border Bling:  Skinny Dotted Frame Die twice and glued it to the top to frame the card.  I die cut the "Happy Birthday" using To Die For Sentiments: Birthday Dies with true black card stock.
