This card is for today's SCS Inspiration Challenge(IC233)! I chose photo #123 as my inspiration with the green and decorative lattice work on the cake. I really thought my basicgray junebug dp worked perfect for the design. I added the flower because I combined my card with this week's SCS Queen for the Day Challenge (QFTD10). The crowned Queen is Deb aka debzi333. I chose this beautiful card from her gallery to case.
Deb has three flowers on her card. I am using the flower from Ippity's spring release set called Now & Always. I just love the assortment of flowers and designs that come in this set. I colored with copics and cut out this flower. I have three flowers like Deb, but I chose to layer mine on top of each other. The sentiment is from Ippity's spring release set called The Simple Things. I tried to keep my card clean and simple. Lots of white space for me! I did add the little bit of piercing in the corners like Deb has on hers as well as a touch of a button in center of my flower! I love how it turned out.
Since I added the little string bow with the button, I figure it complies with yesterday's SCS Free 4All Challenge(F4A13). Buttons and Bows eventhough I did not do anything particularly wow with my button and bow! LOL!

This card is for today's H{ippity} Hop Monday! I am using Unity Ippity stamps. This set is called Where You Should Be.
This card is for QFTD04 at SCS! Congratulations, Linda! This is the card I chose to CASE. I love the look and wanted to create the look with more whimsical images. I changed the colors. Instead of adding a sentiment to the oval at the bottom right, I added directly to the focal panel. Truth be told, my sentiment did not fit any cute oval so I had to adapt. The black background on my card is embossed with a sizzix texture plate. It looks great IRL. Does not show up on camera, though. I added two butterflies in real red for some added pizazz. Linda stamped her two butterflies on her card. I added red gingham tabs and some gold pearls and called it complete. I really love how it turned out!
Focal Image: I cut the ivory cardstock to the dimension I needed for my 5.5 card. I sponged barely banana around edges and a little on the center. I then added summer sun heavily around the edges. I stamped the sentiment. I stamped the flowers. I created a layout that looked good to me with the sentiment actually stamped on the main image. However, once this was done, it still needed something more. This is when I decided to stamped the flowers in the summer sun. It is subtle, but just enough to give it that finished look. I added this panel to the card on two layers of foam tape. It sits up higher and does not have a backing mat. I am as amazed as you that I did not add another layer. I actually love this more simplistic look for this particular card!

I am using Unity Ippity's Where You Should Be stamp set. I just love this set. I do not think there is such a thing as too many wonderful sentiments, fonts, and stems with leaves! Love this set!
I stamped one of my stem images with vintage cream onto kraft cardstock. I added gem detailing and layered with a cordinating gem color. I kept the base and layered panel the same color, however, I did emboss the one horizontal panel. I add my fou fou bow, layered buttons and bling, sentiment and butterfly with gem accent. So very CAS! Love how it turned out!
This card is 5.5 squared!

This card is for today's H{ippity} Hop Monday! I bought me some Unity Ippity stamps. This set is called Regal Greetings. I used one of the images and one of the sentiments to stamp my background paper(DP by ME)! The DP by ME is also today's SCS Technique Challenge TLC264)! I know how to do this technique! For my dp, I started with a 4.5 square of ivory cardstock. I stamped sort of straight, but not too focused on precision one of the smaller medallions in the Regal Greetings set. I used dark chocolate ink and stamped off to give me this lighter shade of brown. I sponged the edges a bit using Ranger antique linen and vintage photo. I used the Thoughts of You sentiment and stamped at an angle using Pretty in Pink. I repeated this step alittle more off center from the pink with the dark chocolate. I layered an EK Success border punch and added the sentiment as the focal point along with my chunky bow with button accenting. I played around with covering up some of the image with something else, but decided I liked this simple look!
