Day 1 ~ Verve's October Spotlight Hops!

Welcome to DAY 1 of Verve's October Spotlight Hops and happy World Card Making Day! Verve just released three new sets perfect for your fall and winter holiday crafting, and they're all on sale in the Verve shop today. As usual, we're celebrating release in style with a blog hop and fabulous giveaway. So pull up a comfy chair and settle in as we share a little creative inspirations using the new Verve goodies.

For my card, I just had to ink up one of these adorable angel stamps from Angel Voices stamp set.  I frame the angel with the  wreath from the Autumn Blessings set!  I think they look great together, too!   I colored my images with copics.  I added my panel to a craft top folding card base.

I added some wink of stella to the angel and a touch of crystal effects to the heart.  I finished with a few of Verve's Shine Bright Sequin Mix.

National Cardmaking Day Verve Diva Inspiration Hop!

 For my card I am using the Verve WCMD kick off Sketch Challenge.  I am using two of the newly released plain janes.  Square Medallion PJ and So Sweet PJ.  I am also using Verve's Cut Above Pennant Trim, Arrow, Ribbon Banner, Lovely Marquee, Charming Oval and I Heart U (heart) die sets. 

For my card I am using some Fancy Pants The Good Life designer papers.  I really thought the Square Medallion PJ would look fun colored the same hues as the fun paper I used on the left panel of the card.  I stamped the Medallion with some Memento black ink.  I colored with copics.  I then added the Ribbon Banner detailing down the middle of the card.  I used one of the Pennant Trim die banner pieces along with two upside down Arrows for the three tiny banners strips coming down center.  I used the heart die from the I Heart U die set popped in the center of the colorful Medallion.  I finished with a Charming Oval tag topped with a seam binding bow.
