Merry Christmas Treats for C4C!

Happy Saturday, everyone!  It is time for another challenge with the crazies at Crazy 4 Challenges(C4C161).

Joycelyn is the host for November!
She is challenging us all to...
Anything But a Card!
That means exactly what it says...altered items, boxes, bags, tags, bookmarks...ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For my Anything But A Card project I chose to make rolled treat containers from toilet paper rolls.

Each roll is wrapped with a 6 x 6 sheet  of Fancy Pants Home For Christmas designer paper.  The treat insert is vintage looking tissue paper containing a few of these vanilla cream treats tied off at the ends with some curly que memory thread.

The first roll uses Verve's Tag Time and Curvy Bookplate Cut Above die with the newly released Peace on Earth and Holiday Greetings stamp sets.  I did add some iridescent tinsel glitter around the edges.

This roll uses Verve's Love Notes stamp set and Classy Label Cut Above die.  I also used the newly released Merry and Bright set.  I lightly stamped the frame from Love Notes in a golden color.  I ink distressed the edges and stamped off for a more subtle snowflake touch.

This last one uses Verve's Love Story stamp set and the Lovely Marquee Cut Above die.  I also used the newly released Joyous Noel  stamp set.  I stamped off and stamp one of the scripty sentiments that come in the set behind the main sentiment a couple of times to add some texture and distressing.  I inked the edges of the die.

Check out what the rest of the team did with this week's challenge!

As always thanks so much for stopping by!

Betty
