Kind Words! 2 cards 1 post!

Happy Friday!  I had a chance to get crafty and made a couple of cards for some blog challenges.  The first card is for The Paper Players Sketch Challenge.  I just love the layers!

For my first card I started with some DCWV wildflower pattern papers.   I picked out the patterns in the pad I wanted to use and put my card together.  I did use one small strip of prairie grass bitty big color collection.   Next, I die cut and stamped the butterfly from Papertrey Inks Butterfly Blooms stamp set and Butterfly Blooms die from stampers select smooth white card stock.  I colored the butterfly with my Arteza Realbrush pens without water just using the concentrated markers.  Love this look.  Again, the colors stay vibrant and beautiful.  I added some wink of stella for some added sparkle.

For the sentiment frame, I used the Scene It Basic Backer die and stamped the sentiment from Kindness Counts stamp set using versafine onyx black ink.

I added the butterfly to the card. I added this panel to a top folding stampers select white card stock base.   I finished the card with a few clear sequins.

For my second card, I again used the same DCWV wildflower pattern papers.  I kept this one simple in a sense that I used mostly pattern papers and a few die cuts to create the card.  I am playing along with the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #41 (straight down the right side).

I layered all of the pattern paper pack elements.  I used a cut out tag to house the sentiment die cut.  I popped up the layers using some foam tape.

I added my panel to a top folding stampers select white card base.  I die cut using gold foil card stock the word "hello" using Papertrey Inks Graceful Greetings die.  I finished my card with some loose threading and some clear sequins.

As always thanks so much for stopping by!
