Happy Birthday!

Hello friends!  I have a card to share today using products

This card is part of an Instagram Hop! I am using Simon Says Stamps Petal Power Stamp set and Petal Power die set. For the background I stamped Open Grid background stamp onto white card stock using versamark ink and white embossed.  I ink blended shades of sky blue, summer shower, seaside, and a touch of storm inksI die cut the panel using an A2 rectangle die.  I used foam tape to add to a top folding white card stock base.

I stamped the flowers using red card stock with schoolhouse red ink.  I stamped the leaves and stem using green card stock and jellybean green ink. Once once the flower elements were stamped and die cut, I worked on arrangement. I wanted to layer the large and small petals so that the top petal edges have dimension, but the centers adhered with glue to the larger petal.  For the center, I used yellow cardstock stamped with sweet mustard ink.  I actually stamped larger petals and die cuts to create the center pattern. I used a circle die to add a larger die cut to the base of center of the flower.

For the sentiment, I used Garden Greetings stamp set.  I stamped with versamark ink onto black card stock and white embossed.  I used foam tape to add dimension to the sentiment. I finished the card with a few clear sequins.

Check out my Instagram Post for a chance to win in the Make Magic Instagram Hop!

I am playing along with Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.
