CardMaker Kit of the Month with BLOG CANDY!

Happy Sunday!  I have a product review to share with you today!  Robin,  from CardMaker Kit of the Month manager contacted me and asked if I would review a couple of their kit of the months.  I was interested to see what a card kit would consist of, so I said yes!   What does that mean for you?  Robin sent me two kits to give away to my readers!  All you have to do is leave a comment for me!  I will choose two lucky winners on Sunday, November 11th!

Here are a couple more cards I created using one of the kits!

What I think of the kits?

  • I really love the packaging. I love how everything comes banded together in a clear sleeve.
  • I really love the full color mini magazine included which is chocked full of card making "how tos" that are beneficial for the beginner and the advanced paper crafter.
  • I was really impressed with the selection of different products.  One kit contained flatback pearls, ribbon, textured card stock, punch out sheets and stamps.  Another kit included glittered card stock, glittered brads in varying sizes, rub ons, punch outs, and stamps.  The fact that each kit and the products changes each month is a fun surprise.
  • I loved that each kit contains cards and envelops to make at least 8 cards.  Some are shaped cards which is really cool.
  • I really loved that instruction are NOT required for the more advanced designer; however, I found it fascinating to read how someone else creates from plain paper.
  •  I really think the contents create some very clean and simple designs; however, I also think these same products can be used in conjunction with many of our existing products to truly go outside the prescribe looks created in the "how to" magazine that would be a fun challenge all by itself.
  • I really think these kits are great to buy as a year long gift for either a shut in, kids, or grand kids who you would like to introduce to papercrafting.    Instead of having to pack up everything you own to go craft with someone all you need are a few basics and the kit.  A great way to create some lasting memories for sure!
