February Papertrey Ink Blog Hop!

Happy Sunday!  I have a card to share today for this month's

I focused on several elements from the inspiration photo.  I used stampers select white card stock.  For my key elements I stamped and die cut some flowers and leaves from Seasonal Borders: Spring set and Seasonal Border die collection.  I also stamped and die cut some of the smaller birds from Brushed Birds stamp set and Brushed Birds die collection.  The leaves came from Warm Regards stamp set and Warm Regards die collection.

Next, I die cut the shape shifters: Circle 1 die.  I ink blended just into the center some green parakeet and prairie grass inks.  I used my versamark pad to lightly touch the pinking edges of the shape shifters circle and silver embossed. I used Background Basics: Celestial Sky to add some aqua mist speckles around the green to mimic the robin egg speckles.  I added foam tape to the back of the circle.  I added this to a piece of Harvest Gold Bitty Big paper die cut using the stitched frame from Noted: Scalloped A2 Vertical die collection.  I arranged my flowers, leaves, and birdies to the side.  I die cut the scalloped frame from Keep It Simple Frames.  I  added this slightly to the side.  Next, I die cut the "Hello" and layered twice in gold foil cardstock using Graceful Greetings die.

I added this entire panel to a scalloped base using the Noted: Scalloped A2 Vertical die collection again.   I felt my card needed one more pop of green, so I chose new leaf card stock and die cut with the scalloped A2 fame and cut off a section at the bottom and added to my card.  I love the addition this touch made to the overall look of my card.  I finished my card with a few clear sequins.

I am also playing along with the Freshly Made Sketches and TicTacToe Challenges.

As always thanks so much for hopping by!
