Just For You!

Happy Saturday!  I have a card to share for this week's Papertrey Ink Make It Monday Challenge.  This week is about stenciled edges.

For my card I started with some Strathmore cold press watercolor paper.  I used Papertrey Inks Diamond Stencil Collection.  I used Distressed Oxide Wilted Violet ink and sponged around the edges.  I then splashed with water to create a watercolor effect.  When the panel was dried, I stamped Corner Adorner: March mini stamp set into the corners with versamark and heat embossed with gold.  Next, I layered the other dotted image from the set and stamped with royal velvet ink.

Once the frame design was how I wanted it, I started working on the floral pieces.  I stamped and die cut the wildflowers from PTI Mixed Bouquet stamp set and Mixed Bouquet die onto stampers select white card stock.  I used hibiscus burstberry sorbetbright buttercupamethyst allure, and royal velvet, and green parakeet inks.  I felt like the arrangement needed more as well as something to anchor it in the frame, so I chose Seasonal Borders: Spring stamp set and stencils set and Seasonal Spring Borders die.   I only used one of the small clusters, but it really added exactly what I needed.  I used pale peonyhibiscus burstharvest goldbright buttercup, lilac grace amethyst allure, and simply chartreuse inks for this cluster to offer some color variation.  I added a few leafy sprigs from Gran's Garden stamp set and Gran's Garden die to complete the arrangement.  I used simply chartreuse and ripe avocado for the leaves.
I used some foam tape on some of the florals to add some dimension.

For the sentiment, I stamped the sentiment from the same Corner Adorner: March mini stamp set in versamark and heat set in gold using the sentiment strip from Wine Bottle Tag #2 die.  I ran the tag through twice to get the fishtail at both ends as well as to shorten it to fit the sentiment.  I added the watercolor panel to a piece of royal velvet card stock and added that to a stampers select white card base. I finished my card with a few clear sequins.

I am also playing along with Stamp Ink Paper Inspiration Challenge

As always thanks so much for stopping by!
