I have two cards to share today.
For the first card I mixed some American Crafts Twilight Collections patterned papers to create a scene. I kept the scene simple to not detract from the sentiment. I used two sentiments from Risen Savior stamp set. I die cut the rounded scallop framed panel.
I stacked two of the scalloped frames, but recessed the sentiment section. I then stamped and gold embossed the "Allelujah" onto some sweet blush card stock.
I popped this sentiment up using some foam tape. I finished with a few clear sequins.
For my second card, I decided to go bold and bright. I started with some strathmore watercolor paper. I stenciled a distressed circle using some wilted violet distressed oxide ink. I am slowly adding more oxide inks to my collection. Love this color!
To add more pop, I sponged the horizontal panel behind the focal circle with wilted violet distressed oxide ink as well onto a watercolor paper. I die cut two sections of the the smaller of the Lacey Trim Duo die set using true black card stock to go above and below the panel.
I layered some large and small striped true black pattern papers for effect. I stamped the tiny heart that comes in the new Sentimental Wishes stamp set beside the sentiment. I added some wink of stella to give it some sparkle.
I used some foam tape to pop the circle and background panels up for added dimension. I finished with some clear sequins.
