Day 3: Verve's April Release Spotlight Hops!

Welcome back to Day 3 of Verve's April Release Spotlight Hops!  The Verve Divas and special guest are back for another day of spotlighting our new release! Everything previewed this week will be available to order in the Verve online shop on Tuesday, April 10.

Today we're sharing our first projects featuring the Sentimental Wishes stamp set. This set pairs beautifully with the new Lacey Frames and Lacey Trim Duo die sets.

I have two cards to share today.  

  

For my first card I started with some DCWV Wildflower pattern paper.  I die cut two gold mirror card stock borders using the smaller of the two Lacey Trim Duo die set.

Next, I die cut two squares from the Lacey Frames die set and glued together for added dimension.  I die cut several of the word "hope" using the  Lifted Hope Die Set

as well as a gold mirror one and glued them together for more dimension. 

I added some loose threading to the back of the lacey square frame along with some foam tape.  I glued the stacked word to the top.   I die cut several tiny butterflies with Verve's Graceful Butterflies die set from the background pattern paper.  I finished the card by adding a tiny gem to each.  

For my next card, I started with some Carta Bella Spring Market pattern papers.  I just love gingham and green!  I die cut two of the tags from Verve's Flourished Tag die set.  I punched a hole in the top and added a clear gem brad.  I added a lacey circle die cut using Verve's Lacey Frames die set.  I glued two together for added definition.  

I stamped a sentiment from the new Sentimental Wishes stamp set using versafine onyx black ink.  I die cut the larger of the two lacey trim dies using  Lacey Trim Duo die set and tucked under the lacey circle.

I die cut, white embossed and colored with copics two butterflies using Butterfly Grace stamp set and the coordinating Graceful Butterflies die set.   I added wink of stella to both butterflies for some added sparkle and shine.  I finished the card with some clear sequins.
