Happy Thursday! I am popping in with a couple of cards to share today. I am guest designing this week at Tic Tac Toe Challenge. Thanks so much to the team for having me. It is truly an honor!
I chose to go across the top row. For my card I started with some stampers select white card stock. I sponged some aqua mist and hawaiian shore inks onto a panel. I die cut the Shape Shifters Oval 1 die using Fresh Snow Linen card stock and added on top of the sponged panel.
I die cut and stamped the cute pink flamingos from Some Like It Hot stamp set and Some Like It Hot die set using pale peony, hibiscus burst, and classic kraft inks. I used foam tape to pop up the flamingos and added them to the oval frame. I added some more foam tape and mounted it to a panel of bold stripes from the Bitty Big Soft Stone color collection.
I used some Wink of Stella shimmer pen to add some sparkle to the flamingos. For my sentiment I die cut some soft stone card stock and used the Keep It Simple Frames dies. I used the inside portion to the scalloped frame die. I stamped the sentiment from Thank You Mini stamp set in Versafine Onyx black ink. I finished this card with a few clear sequins.
For my second card I am playing along with The Fusion Card Challenge. I decided to use the sketch side. I thought this sketch was unique and different.
I used DCWV Wildflower paper pad. I added some gold foil card stock inside the V-shaped die cut area for effect.
For the focal elements, I die cut and stamped the leaves from Gran's Garden stamp set and Gran's Garden die set. I used Limeade Ice and Simply Chartreuse inks. I used the Huge Sentiments stamp set. I die cut Huge Banner die and stamped with perfect placement using my new Tim Holtz Stamping Platform. Love It! I mixed Pale Peony and Berry Sorbet inks. I die cut one of the Huge Wishes dies using gold foil card stock and layering with fun foam to create dimension.
I then die cut the smaller sentiment strip from Wine Bottle 2 Tag die and mixed Amethyst Allure and Autumn Rose inks to get this pretty shade of pink/purple that is in the pattern paper. I added some loose threading and clear sequins to finish my card.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!
