Your Dreams!

I am popping in to share another graduation card today.  This one is for a girl!  I am playing along with this week's MFT Weekly Sketch Challenge, Just Us Girls photo week, and The Friday Mashup butterflies.  I tried to keep this graduation card CAS as well.

I started with MFT kraft and smooth white card stocks.  My card base is kraft.  I die cut the white panel using Blueprints 15.  I stamped the sentiment from Blissful Butterflies stamp set using Hybrid Black Licorice and my MISTI tool.  I die cut the curve arc from Blueprints 25 twice using kraft.  I stamped both with Fine Check using natural ink.  I then die cut the butterflies from Blissful Butterflies die namics.  I stamped with coordinating images from Blissful Butterflies stamp using colors from the inspiration photo (daffodil, summer splash, and tangy orange).  I popped them up with some foam tape and finished the card with a few clear sequins.

As always thanks so much for stopping by!

May PTI Blog Hop!

I had a few moments to get crafty today and decided to play along with May's Papertrey Ink's Blog Hop!   This inspiration pictures created a whole lot of possibilities.  It was hard to decide which route to go!

I need a graduation card for a guy.  It was all I could do not to add some sequins!  I started with rustic white card stock.

I stamped the "Congratulations" from Bigger Blooms several times in different colors to comply with inspiration photo.  I used the Number Time Trio die collection to cut and stack the year.  I wanted the numbers to be tonal to the background.  I layered the card front onto a new leaf base.  Like I said, I really wanted to add some sequins.  I decided against it and just leave it plain since it is for a guy.

Just want to add that lining up the stamps and getting a good impression repeatedly  was so easy using my MISTI!

Muse: Christmas Visions Challenge!

Happy Wednesday!  It is the 3rd Wednesday of the month and time for my  MUSE:  Christmas Vision Card Club
Challenge!

I hope my card inspires you to create a Christmas creation of your own.  I can't wait to see what you create.  Make sure you link up your creations HERE!

For my card I  started with traditional red and white.  I am using Verve's Pinecone Christmas stamp set.  I stamped the sentiment in versamark onto the red and embossed with white embossing powder.  To create some added dimension, I swiped the versamark pad across the red  card stock to create the look of subtle texture.  This step must be done after the embossing or the white embossing powder will stick everywhere.  Next, I stamped the branch and leaves onto the white oval die cut.  Then, I die cut the pine cones from Verve's Cut  Above Poinsettia Pinecone die set, stamped with coordinating pinecone images, and used some foam tape to pop them up for added depth and dimension.  I finished my card with a few of Verve's Holiday Sequin Mix.

Thank You, Congratulations, and Sweet of You!

Happy Saturday!  I am popping in with  few cards to share.  I finally had some time to get crafty.  For my first card, I am playing along with this week's MFT Weekly Sketch Challenge and MFT Color Challenge.

I am using MFT Stamps.  I started with MFT smooth white, fuse green, kraft, ripe raspberry, tickled pink, and black licorice card stocks.  My card base is smooth white.  I die cut the fuse green with Blueprints 13.  I edged the bottom with Stiched Basic Edgers die namics.  I stamped the houndstooth background using versamark for a subtle stamped background.  I die cut the stitchable circle stax.  I die cut the smooth white panel with Vertical Stitched Strips.

I die cut the flamingo with smooth white, ripe raspberry, tickled pink, black licorice, and kraft.  I constructed the pink flamingo and added it to the card.  I used some foam mounting tape on the body of the flamingo for some added dimension.  I inked distressed the edges with versamark to add some depth to the flamingo.

Graduation Card!

For my second card, I am playing along with Fusion Card Challenge, The Friday Mashup, and Fab Friday.

I started with MFT Stamps smooth white, lemon chiffon, and steel gray card stocks.  I die cut the steel gray with Blueprints 13.  I stamped Outline Sentiments in sweet tooth pigment ink.  I layered a smooth white panel die cut with Vertical Stitched Strips.  I layered a Stitched Jumbo Flag Stax.  I inked up sentiments from Watt's Up and Beautiful Baby stamp sets.  I white embossed the "Bright."  I sponged on some daffodil at the bottom then some lemon chiffon to give an ombre "light" effect.  I die cut the chandelier die namics in steel gray three times and glued together for some added dimension and stability.

Sweet Treats card!

My last card is just fun!  The only thing better than a scoop of ice cream are three scoops of ice cream!  I am playing along with Retro Sketch and Just Add Ink color challenge.

I started with MFT smooth white, kraft, and sno cone card stocks.  I die cut the triple scoop cone from Sweet Treats in kraft and stamped with coordinating image from You're the Sweetest stamp set.  I die cut the scoops in smooth white and stamped with coral crush, snow cone, and sour apple inks.  I layered with some foam mounting tape.  I die cut the kraft background with Blueprints 13.  I stamped with Simply Circles background with sweet tooth ink.  I added a sentiment in bottom corner from You're the Sweetest stamp set in hybrid black licorice ink.  I finished with a few sequins and some loose thread.

You Are...Wonderful and Seeing Beauty!

Happy Saturday!  I have a couple of cards to share today.  For my first card I am playing along with The Color Throwdown, The Friday Mashup (sketch), and The Card Concept (inspiration).

I just love The Card Concept's inspiration photo.  The colors
work perfectly with this week's Color Throwdown trio.  I started with MFT Stamps smooth white and berrylicious card stock.  I stamped the front of the base with berrylicious ink using Striped background.   I die cut berrylicious with stitched rounded rectangle stax.  I stamped this panel with Swiss Dot background stamp using Sweet Tooth pigment ink.

inside of card
Next, I die cut a pierced Traditional Tag Stax die namics in smooth white.  I masked off a portion of the sentiment from True Friends stamp set.  I stamped it going down the side of the tag in hybrid black licorice ink.  Then, I die cut the the tulips from Spring Tulip die namics and stamped the coordinating image from Spring Tulip stamp set using hybrid black licorice ink.  I colored with copics.  To comply with the sketch, I added a loose thread bow and let the threads wrap and hang loosely around the tag.  I used the tiny clothespin to clip it to the tag. I finished the front with a few clear sequins.

For my second card, I am playing along with
The ColourQ,
MFT Weekly Sketch Challenge, and Just Us Girls.

Next, I die cut a tag from Blueprints Tag Builder 1.  I stamped a sentiment from Whimsical Wishes in hybrid black licorice ink.  I die cut the image from You Gnome Me die namics and stamped with coordinating image from You Gnome Me stamp set in hybrid black licorice.  I colored with copics to comply with color challenge.  I used some pop dots to add to the tag.  I used some pink/white twine to tie a bow and add element to comply with sketch.  I finished with a few clear sequins.
