Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: Icicle!

Happy New Year!  We're back!

It's time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

The LEAD of this challenge will be invited to be a guest designer in an upcoming challenge!

For my card I decided to play off of the wonderful colors and touches of sparkle.  I started with some stampers select white cardstock.  I stamped the the stacked presents image from PTI Gifts of the Season using Tropical Teal and Hawaiian Shores ink. I then die cut using coordinating die.

Next, I  used another piece of stampers select white and stamped star clusters using the image from  Birthday Cheer stamp set.  I added a sentiment from Tropics stamp set.  I added some foam tape to the bottom of the present image.  I added a few clear gems to some of the bows.  I added some wink of stella on a few gifts for added sparkle.   I finished with a few clear sequins.

PTI November Blog Hop!

Happy Friday!  I am popping in with a Christmas card to share for this month's Papertrey Ink November Blog Hop!  

I decided to play off the all the white tree branches and white emboss the leaves from PTI Holiday Greens  and Christmas Faith stamp sets onto a saffron spice background.   I layered a scene it basic backer die in pure poppy behind a layered die cut center Tag Sale #4 die in white.  I die cut the Inspired Jesus die from the center so the red backer die could show through.  

I used some fun foam to add dimension.   I stamped the sentiment from Jesus mini stamp set in pure poppy and black using the Misti for perfect placement and added definition.  I added a couple of sprigs stamped in pure poppy and saffron spice.  I finished with an ornament bow and a sparkly white dove from Christmas Faith die set.

February 7th is Wave All Your Fingers at Your Neighbor Day…..a day to show friendliness and good spirits. Let’s make cards that will bring smiles and happiness to the recipients.

For my card I am using some Papertrey stamps and dies to create a gift box in a bag container. 

I used the directions HERE for my box in a bag container.  I love making these because they are pretty quick and the amount of space inside is versatile enough for a wide arrange of gifts.  I am also playing along with Papertrey's Make It Monday 102 challenge to stamp a box or a bag. I am also playing along with Moxie Fab World Creative Card Challenge #49  to make own background paper.

Crazy for Challenges: Thankful!

Week 2 Challenge is all about Shaping It Up!

For my card I am using some PTI stamps and dies!   I chose to make a half scalloped circle card with the fold at the bottom.  Card stands beautifully on its own plus it is a great size for an A10 sized envy.   A gift card or cash will fit fabulously in this half scalloped creation.  

For my shape card I am also playing along with PTI weekly Make it Monday Challenge.  This week is all about a rainbow of colors in either a die or stamped format.  I am using Papertrey's card stocks and die cut a few times PTI Hello Sunshine die.  I layered the colors in order and stitched in place and to the framed scalloped background.   Next I die cut the thankful from the Counting My Blessings die collection.   I cut it out three times.  One in true black, vintage cream, and sunrise sunset card stocks.  I layered them and staggered the sunrise slightly for added depth.  I stamped it with the Background Basics: Houndstooth with Sunrise Sunset ink.  I added some Melon Berry polka dotted satin ribbon loop tab and a few colored coordinated PTI buttons.
