For my card I am using ODBD Be Joyful stamp set along with the January released Antique Label Designs and Antique Labels & Border dies.  I stamped the larger floral image from Be Joyful using Memento tuxedo black ink.  I colored with copic markers and some spectrum noir markers.   I stamped one of the sentiments on the same panel as the image.   Then, I stamped the sentiment from Be Joyful and the Antique Label Design frame.  I die cut the framed sentiment and popped it up a bit.  I finished with some gold pearls and seam binding bow.

As always thanks so much for stopping by!  Enjoy the hop!  Next up is the fabulously talented Deb's blog.

Lucky You, a Play Date, and a MOJO!

Since we were iced in here in eastern North Carolina yesterday,   I decided to stay in and spend a little time in the craft room.  I really loved this cool sketch at Mojo Monday 277 Sketch this week and thought I would give it a try.

For my CAS card, I am using Verve's Lucky You, Hope Blooms, Tag Time, Super Dad, Shamrock die, Ribbon Banner die, and Tagged Rectangle die.

I am also playing along with Play Date Cafe:  A Splash of Retro166 Challenge.
Also playing along with Stampin Royalty to use Polka Dots!

Blessings on your Birthday, C4C and a CASE!

Happy Saturday!   It is time for another Crazy 4 Challenge with the Crazies!   Check out the blog for more challenge details with the crazies at Crazy 4 Challenges(C4C170).

This week we are
"Raising the Bar!"

This week’s challenge is dedicated to Bar, our very own Crazy Team Member! She had hand surgery earlier this month.   While she worked diligently prior to surgery to create beautiful cards for the challenges ahead of time, the past few weeks she has been unable to get crafty at all while her hand heals so we are “Raising the Bar” with a CASE!

Check out her blog, Paper Pursuits
and choose a card or
project to CASE!

For my card I am using ODBD newly released Antique Label Designs,  All Occasion Sentiments, and Antique Labels & Border Spellbinders dies on this card.

I totally had a blast perusing Bar's blog to find a card to CASE.  It was so hard to choose that I finally had to minimize my choices to the ones she has for sale on Etsy.   I chose to CASE this card of Bar's.  I mixed together some papers, stitching,  flourished pearls,  and finished with a seam binding bow topped with button.  I love how a decorative stamped frame, coordinating die, and a few embellishments complete a whole card

Feel better, Bar!  You are in my thoughts and prayers!  Check out what the rest of the team did with this week's challenge!

As always thanks so much for stopping by!

Crazy4Challenges C4C169!

Happy Saturday!   It is time for another Crazy 4 Challenge with the Crazies!   Check out the blog for more challenge details with the crazies at Crazy 4 Challenges(C4C169).

I am your C4C January
Challenge Host!

 January Week 3 is.....
  Crazy 4 Sketch Saturday!

As far as sketch challenges go, you can turn it, flip it, tweak the panel sizes a bit, but in the end it should still look like the sketch.

For my card I am using ODBD newly released Little Boys and All Occasion Sentiments sets on this card.  I decided to make a guy card.  I just love silhouette sets.  So easy and the impact is perfect I guess I have been going through an "I don't want to color stage."  LOL!   I just love the All Occasion Sentiments set, too.  So many wonderful and unique sentiments.   I finished the card with a seam binding bow and a few nail heads.

Check out what the rest of the team did with
this week's challenge!

Cast All Your Cares Mojo and More!

Happy Friday!  I am popping in here with a quick Verve card to share with you todayI am using the Mojo Monday 276 sketch.  I flipped the sketch for my card.

I am using Verve's I Peter 5:7.  I love this scripture.  Wonderful way to showcase it to in the round and with God as the center.  I also used Verve's Cut Above Pennant Trim die.

I am also using Verve's Signature Ribbon Collection.  I kept my card pretty clean and simple...for me.  I used some SU black dotted paper and some misc. black pattern paper.  I inked the edges, stitched, and added a corrugated pennant trim topped with a seam binding bow.  I layered the scripture sentiment in the center and topped with a tiny red heart.

As always thanks so much for stopping by!

For my card I am using ODBD Flourished Verses and Little Girls  stamp sets.

I stamped the little girls solid image for the focal point of my card using Memento tuxedo black ink.  I love solid image stamps because they are quick and easy, but the impact is bold and beautiful.   I added a few heart die cuts in assorted textures and finished with the sentiment tag from Flourished Verses topped off with a seam binding bow.

Crazy for Challenges: Thankful!

Happy Saturday!   It is time for another Crazy 4 Challenge with the Crazies!   Check out the blog for more challenge details with the crazies at Crazy 4 Challenges(C4C168).

I am your C4C January
Challenge Host!
Week 2 Challenge is all about Shaping It Up!

Shape it Up!
Anything but a standard A2 or
square card! We want to see
you Shape It Up!

For my card I am using some PTI stamps and dies!   I chose to make a half scalloped circle card with the fold at the bottom.  Card stands beautifully on its own plus it is a great size for an A10 sized envy.   A gift card or cash will fit fabulously in this half scalloped creation.

For my shape card I am also playing along with PTI weekly Make it Monday Challenge.  This week is all about a rainbow of colors in either a die or stamped format.  I am using Papertrey's card stocks and die cut a few times PTI Hello Sunshine die.  I layered the colors in order and stitched in place and to the framed scalloped background.   Next I die cut the thankful from the Counting My Blessings die collection.   I cut it out three times.  One in true black, vintage cream, and sunrise sunset card stocks.  I layered them and staggered the sunrise slightly for added depth.  I stamped it with the Background Basics: Houndstooth with Sunrise Sunset ink.  I added some Melon Berry polka dotted satin ribbon loop tab and a few colored coordinated PTI buttons.

Check out what the rest of the team did with
this week's challenge!
