Verve's May Inspiration Challenge!

Happy Thursday!  I am popping in with a card to share for Verve's May Inspiration Challenge!

October Diva Inspirations Challenge and Blog Hop!

It's time for the Verve Divas to bring you our monthly Diva Inspirations Challenge and Blog Hop! There are two ways to win Verve prizes: comment on the design team's blog hop posts (linked below) to see their take on the inspiration, then go get inky and link up your take on the challenge to be eligible in our prize drawings! You have the until November 5 to link up, so feel free to play as often as you like.

Our October challenge is Black, White and Glam
 

October always has a bit of glamour and intrigue to it. A stroll through the craft store this time of year brings visions of glitzy pumpkins, gilded candelabras and rhinestones galore. So this month we’re challenging you to to get glamorous with black, white and metallics. Use the inspiration graphic or go off on your own tangent, just share a little bit of glam with us!

For my card I am using Verve's New Mercies and Beautiful Plain Jane stamps.  I used a printed linen framed paper.  I stamped the sentiment twice in the center using the MISTI.  Next, I masked the corners and stamped the leafy image from Verve's New Mercies inside several times using the MISTI for better coverage.  I finished with a few of the tiny gold stars from Verve's Golden Glam Shaker Mix.

Our March challenge is B is for Birthday...

Don't be caught short - make a fabulous birthday card to keep in your stash or give away! Use the inspiration graphic as a starting point, or head off in your own direction - just show us your birthday creations!

For my card I started with some Heidi Swapp Favorite Things designer paper pad to mimic some of the patterns and colors in the inspiration picture.  I combined Verve's On Occasion and Chevron Love stamp sets along with Verve's On Occasion Frame die and Banner Bundle die set.   I added some loose thread for detailing and finished with some Verve Signature Sequin Mix.  I am playing along with this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch.

I think this inspiration picture is so beautiful and has lots of creative possibilities!  I focused on the dark gray, light gray, white, and a few sprinkles of pinks. I used Verve's Stronger Love, No Matter What, and Better Together stamp sets.  I mixed these sets with Verve's Cut Above Wavy Hearts and Flag It dies.  I finished my card with a few Verve Shine Bright Sequin Mix.     I am playing along with the Deconstruction Sketch 186.
